Accessibility\tab order question

Jun 28, 2018

Hi,

I'm trying to create an interaction in SL 360 that will not make the user start over in the tab order on the base slide when returning from a layer. I have a slide with a title, an instructional text box and 8 tabs that the user selects to view a definition. I'd like the keyboard user to be able to view the definitions in order by tabbing through the base slide and selecting each button to view the corresponding definition layer. However, after viewing each definition, they always have to go back to the title and tab through the whole base slide again to get back to where they left off. I've tried pausing the base slide when the layer opens, but it still puts you back to the first object on the slide when closing\hiding the layer. Is there any way to have the base layer pick up where the user left off in the tab order?

Hey Tama! I wanted to let you know we just released another update for Articulate 360.  It includes new features and fixes listed here!

The problem we were seeing where the yellow focus indicator would jump back to the first object on the slide when a layer was opened is now fixed!

You can take advantage of this fix by downloading and installing the latest update of Storyline 360. Let me know if you have any questions!
