In previous version of Storyline the application linked automatically to the online resources / info at start up. Current version says it will be available IF I connect to the internet. I am connected. Any ideas on what needs to be done?
Here are a few things you can try to correct the issue:
Ensure that you have an Internet connection. After re-establishing your Internet connection, press F5 to refresh the start screen, or close and reopen Storyline.
If you're behind a proxy server, click the round Articulate button in the upper left corner, and clickStoryline Options. Then add your proxy server settings where indicated.
If your firewall is blocking access to the Storyline start page, ask your IT staff for assistance.
Just my 2p worth - this is a long-running issue. I think I reported it in Beta 1, (if memory serves me correctly).
I travelled on a train to London today, doing email via a constant dongle/3-G connection and working on SL. Not once did Storyline say I was connected.
Thanks for your responses so far. It's certainly not an internet access problem. If I click on the Help link (top left ribbon) I can access tutorials, Product Support, Documentation, Forums, Rapid e-learning blog, Word of mouth blog and the Articulate website.via the links. It's only the start up page that normally linked to resources straight away that now displays this message.
