Accordian Tabs

Apr 15, 2013

Hello all, I'm using the accordian tabs in one of my scenes and I'm wondering if there's a way to have the user click only when the audio is completed for the tab they're on. I want to give the users the interactivity, but also have them finish listening to the audio. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the community, Kay!

Do you have a link to the "accordion tabs" interaction that I can check out to get a better idea?

In general, you can prevent users from advancing too quickly by disabling the built-in Next button until they've met certain conditions, such as clicking all the buttons on the slide or listening to all the narration. Another option is to remove the built-in Next button and create your own custom button for navigation. Or, you can restrict navigation for your entire course by making a simple change to your player settings.

This article has more information on each of these methods.

Thanks, Peter, and sorry for the delay in responding.

That's the link to the template. I'm not sure how I can have the user complete the content and then be able to click on the next bar. So in this case, I can disable the next button, but I want to disable the option to click the next tabs until the one they are on has audio completed.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
