Activation of lastest storyline2 update keeps failing

This keeps happening when I run the storyline updates. My serial number pre-fills the form, I click activate, it seems to work however the next time I launch storyline I get the same activation request. I only have 25 days left.

The only work around, I'm on a windows 10 which is current, is to create another login and do a fresh install. The activation works then. Seems there's a file permissions problem with the current install that the update/activation cannot overwrite...


any help would be appreciated,

Hi George,

Many times when running updates, you'll be prompted to reactivate and your serial number will auto-populate as you mentioned. This is expected behavior. However, if you're continuing to see this happen every time you access Storyline 2- that's something our Support Engineers would want to investigate with you further. I would recommend reaching out to them by submitting a case over here. Thanks!
