Major problem... After upgrading my old windows to windows 10, my articulate storyline 2 does not work anymore. I have contacted articulate support, but they can not seem to help me.
This is what has happened: I did not know that I needed to deactivate articulate before upgrading windows, so when I started up articulate after upgrading, I was asked to insert activation key. When I then entered my key, it stated that the key was invalid...
What do I do now? I am slightly desperate due to a delivery this friday. HELP!
I located your Support Case (#00752776) and I see our Engineers sent an email with a solution that should resolve the particular UI_Admin error you're receiving. Were you able to receive that email? Sometimes they may be filtered to a spam or junk mailbox.
When you upgrade Microsoft Windows from one major version to another (e.g., Windows 8 to Windows 10) and launch Articulate Storyline 2 you may receive the error that you're seeing. To clear it up, you'll have to reactivate Storyline with Administrative Privileges as outlined in this article. The error message pictured in the article is slightly different than the one you're seeing, but the same steps resolve both.
If you're still not able to activate after following those steps, I would highly encourage you to reply back to our Support Engineers so they can troubleshoot with you further and get this resolved as quickly as possible! :)
