I apologise if this is a stupid question but I'm new to Storyline so I'm still finding my feet.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add a guide line over all my slides in order to make sure my buttons are in the same place on each slide, or if there is another way to do this?

Hi Louis, and welcome to the Heroes community.
There is a Guideline feature under "View".
If you then click on a Guide, hold the mouse key down, then press CTRL and drag, you can create another, did in image below.
