Add/Remove Screens – Articulate +TIN CAN API

Hi,

We currently have an e-leaning course which we need to add/remove screens from time to time so that our users can access latest content. We would like them to resume from where they were previously were in the course.

After investigation it seems as though that TIN CAN API counts the slides that you have seen, and the counter is used when you resume the course.

1.       For example if we had a course of 5 slides, and if a user stops at slide 4

2.       We delete slide 3 and replace the existing course.

3.       The user re-starts the course at slide 5, rather than slide 4 (as expected).

Again, it seems that tin can api counts the slides that you have seen, and the counter is used when you resume the course.

Does anyone know how TIN CAN API tracks the progress of the user in the course? Addtionally does anyone know how to modify this behaviour.
