Ok - here's a really basic question, but this is my first foray into Storyline. I have some slides in "Try" mode and I just want to add text boxes to each slide with some additional info.
It'll depend on what you want to do with the text boxes or how you want them to appear. If you'd like to add some additional information to the screen recording slides for while the user views them - add them right on the base layer. If you'd prefer that they operate more like the "hint captions" you could add it on a new layer with a trigger to show the layer based on what you'd like the user to do - or even add it to an existing layer.
If you could share a bit more about what you'd like to have happen we could help point you in the right direction!
