I would like to publish my store in Articulate360 but would like to add a timeline to the top of the player. Can you please help me add this feature. Thank you
It sounds like you're using Storyline and hoping to publish to Review 360?
The built-in player has a seekbar that you could enable on each slide (or the entire player) and that would allow your learners to see how much time they have left on each slide as they navigate the course. It will only appear at the bottom of the player.
Does that match what you're thinking of, or is there something else I can help with?
Thank you for the reply. The goal is to allow the user to be aware of how far they are in the eLearn and how much time is left. Would I still use a quiz timer for that?
Yes, that's right! For example, if you want to limit learners to spend 20 minutes in the course, you would set up the quiz timer as shown below.
The timer will start when the learner accesses the first slide in the course, and it will end when the learner reaches the results slide (or when the learner reaches 20 minutes).
I don't want to limit learners to anything. I would like the learner to be aware of how far they are in the learning, time wise and how much time they have until the eLearning is over. I've attached an image which I would like to have on the top section of the player.
That makes sense, thanks for clarifying! While the Storyline player doesn't have a timer feature (aside from the quiz timer), I can certainly submit that as a feature request.
In the meantime, hopefully the community can share some workaround ideas with you!
The old method I used, producing a PowerPoint and hitting the Articulate button would allow me to publish when the timer in the player. How come Articulate360 doesn't have this option?

Hi Ashley,
Thank you for replying. I would like to add a remaining time clock at the top of the player. I've attached an image for you.
Thanks for the help,
Matt
Hi Matt,
That image was helpful - thanks!
It looks like the quiz timer, which you can add as a part of a results slide. You can set it to start:
The timer format dropdown will allow you to choose how the timer displays.

Thanks Alyssa. One last question.

Thank you for your patience,

Hi there Matt!
It sounds like you were using Presenter's quiz timer feature, which is similar to Storyline's quiz timer.
If you're looking for a generic timer that isn't related to a quiz at all, you'll want to build that as a custom timer.
