Adding a trigger if the answer is correct
May 11, 2015
Hi everyone,
I have a question that I can't find the answer to on the boards!
I'm trying to add a trigger to automatically select a button on condition that the the answer that is submitted is correct (and then incorrect). The question interaction is a text entry one.
When I am adding the trigger condition, I've selected:
- list: variables
- If: (the data entry box)
- Operator: = = Equal to
- Type: (Unsure if to put value or variable, I'm assuming variable but don't know how to proceed from here)
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Sue

Hi Sue
see if this is what you mean
Ah ha! Wendy, thank you so very much for your help.
Yes I believe this is what I wanted to do! I realize now that I have to outline a condition for EACH correct answer. (and then "ignore case" for incorrect).
Also, it's good to know that i have to write out all potentially right answers for the text entry question (including upper case etc.) - I noticed you did that for the answer "blue".
REALLY appreciate your quick response and help!!!!!!!
Hi Sue
glad it worked for you...I'm sure there are other ways to do it but that worked for me.
Good luck with your project.
Glad that Wendy was able to assist you here Sue :)
