Adding Audio Narration and Video/Images to Markers
Mar 10, 2014
Hello All,
I have a slide with 5 markers. Each marker has a title and one line of text and then either a video or an image. I am now trying to add sound narration from a file to each marker. However, when I select the file it pushes the image/ video downward. For the markers with images it isn't a big deal (there is just more space between the text at the top and the image). For the the markers with videos, however, I am completely losing the video play bar. When I try to move the video up the text gets squished to the left or right of the video. Also, If I try to resize the marker box the text still shows up on the side instead of above. Has anyone seen this before? Is there a workaround?
Thanks,

Hi Michael and welcome to Heroes!
Thanks for sharing the images here, and I'm sorry about the issues you're having. I took a look in my own files, and was able to replicate the same behavior, so I've reported it to our Quality Assurance team for review. I don't have a time frame to offer on when I'll hear back regarding a fix or a work around, so I'd suggest using a different method in the meantime.
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for getting back to me. I will try something else for now.
Mike
Hi Mike,
When I did some further testing, it seems that adding the video controls is what causing the odd behavior - not just inserting the audio file. If you're able to remove those, that may be a quick fix for you.
