I have been trying to add a background image for the player after the content is published like I was able to with Storyline 2, but I cannot seem to make it work for Storyline 3. Has anyone tried to add a background image behind the player for Storyline 3? If so can you please share your secret as to how to make it work. Thank You
Are you looking to do the same as Mark, by adding it behind the player itself? If you're looking to add a background to your slides, that's something you can do as detailed here.
There may be a way to add a background behind the Storyline player using code, but that's a bit beyond my expertise! In fact, you may find this older discussion on editing the player.html handy.
Fortunately we've got quite a few folks here who are html-savvy – who may stop in to assist ☺️

Hi Mark,
That's not a conversation that I've seen come up recently, so I do not have a similar thread to share.
Modifying the published output is not an activity that we support, so hopefully someone in the community will be able to chime in and assist here.
Thank you, can you send me the link for an enhancement request? I would like to submit our request for this enhancement
