Adding buttons to bottom navigation
Jan 20, 2016
Hi All,
I have found myself wanting to add a button to the players bottom navigation options beyond the Previous, Next and Submit options. I have gone in and changed the Submit option to be Main Menu and changed the action to jump to the Main Menu slide I have created.
Wondering about a couple of things with this.
1. Is there a way to create additional button options within the player that will be added to each slide other that Prev, Next and Submit?
2. Also, is there a way to create a default action that is attached to that button so that I dont have to go into each slide and alter that trigger? For example, my Main Menu button I have to go into each slide and manually update the trigger action. I can't find a way to create the action and then propagate it for all instances of that button throughout the project.
Thanks for any guidance on this.
Steve

When i have something like this i wish to accomplish, i remove the default buttons and build my own on the slide. I then put them into the master slide so they appear on each new slide i create.
If you are dead-set on adding to the default player, i do not know how you would accomplish that.
Hi Steve
you can make changes to the player by utilising SL SDK. Here is a link

Thanks for the helpDavid and Wendy.
