Today was the first chance I've had to add captions in a course and it doesn't show in my ribbon. The software appears to be up to date, so am I missing something? Can someone let me know what the latest version is showing on your computer for this? Mine is v3.11.14249.0
Have you added an audio or video file to your slide? If so, you should see the Add Captions button on the Audio Tools Options or the Video Tools Options tab.
This handy guide will walk you through the steps! Let me know if that helps.

Thank you! The video I used didn't have a separate audio file so the option did not appear.
Ah, there's the culprit! Do you see the Add Captions button when you add a MP4 file that contains audio?
Yes, thank you. It figures the first time I try to use it I have one without an audio file...
Good to know. Thanks, June! 👍
