Adding click sound to cursors manually

Jan 31, 2019

Hi, I am currently creating a software tutorial course using SL360, and have mostly been using the Record Screen function to capture processes. However, a couple of processes have had to be manually created from screenshots, due to them only being accessible from a secure laptop where I cant install SL.

For these slides I have manually added screenshots and mouse animations, but I am struggling to add in the mouse click sound (most people here ask how to remove the sounds!).

On the Clicks section of the Mouse Tools Format tab, it seems the selection is stuck on 'None', and selecting single or double click does nothing. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something up with this?

Hi Mark,

Great news!  We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.

The item you'll be interested in is:

  • Fixed: Authors couldn't change the click sounds for mouse cursors in simulations.

Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
