Adding Images Fills Whole Timeline

First I'm very new to Storyline 360. We just purchased. So here is my questions.
Why is it that when I add an image to Storyline 360 it fills the entire timeline? I'm adding a different sticky note to my learning. Replacing 1 with 2.
Yes I know I can replace the image, but this "feature/bug"bothers me. I don't want new images to take up the entire timeline because I then have to take the time to zoom out and scroll to the end to drag the ending handle all the way back to where I actually want it to start.
Is there a way around this? In Camtasia I just set the default length for images to 5 seconds. Storyline's options are, well, basically non-existent.
Thanks,
Will

So it appears to be everything. I just added Text to stand on top of my new sticky note and the text fills the entire timeline. This doesn't make sense to me. HELP!!! :)
By default, the object is set to show until end since Storyline only knows you are adding something to the screen. It will show it for the entire time that screen is visible.
If you want to change the object, right click on the object on the timeline, and you should see this timing box.
