I just (6-12-18) updated Storyline 2. Since then, when I paste text into a text box, Storyline adds several extra lines of space between each paragraph (extra paragraph returns).
I am working on a Mac with the latest version of Virtual Box, and I copy the text from a Word doc that's open on the Mac side. Still, I never had this problem before the current upgrade.
Yes, I checked that too. It looks just like it is supposed to: single, no added space. I checked my Word doc to see if there were hidden paragraph returns, but there weren't. So I still don't know why I am suddenly having this problem.
Do you also have Microsoft Word installed in Windows? If so, I wonder if you would have more luck opening the file within Windows on Virtual Box than opening it from the Mac side.

Hi Donna!
It sounds like some unwanted formatting is getting carried over in the copy/paste process.
In the document on the Mac side, try highlighting the text and selecting Clear Formatting. Then, copy the text and paste it into Storyline.
Let me know if you see an improvement!
This suggestion made me SO hopeful, but alas, no change in my problem. Other suggestions?
Hi Donna! Sorry to hear that didn't work. I wonder if there are some wonky paragraph settings lurking in your Storyline text boxes.
Open paragraph settings, and be sure the spacing is set to 'Single'. Then, right-click the text box, and select 'Set as Default Text Box'.
Here's a quick video of those steps!
