Hello, how do I add a video/audio from a previous story to a new story. Was hoping it would be simple as a copy/past. I am newer working in Articulate and have never worked with any audio.
Do you still have access to the original .story file? If so, you can use the import method to import the slide containing audio/video from the original file into the new file. Then, you can copy/paste the audio to any slide in the new file. Let me know how it goes!
I have a new Articulate project with updated templates for this newer story. I just need to transfer the audio portion from the older Articulate story into the new story. The direction you gave is importing the older file which I don't want, I just need the audio from the old to the new. Is that possible?
After you import the slide containing audio/video from the original file into the new file, copy/paste the audio to any slide in the new file. Delete the slide you don't want. If you want audio from several slides, you can import them all at one time. There are also slower methods of doing this, but bear in mind the audio is most likely in segments, with each segment attached to a specific slide. It is highly unlikely that there is just one free-floating audio asset.

Good Morning Alyssa,
