Hi folks, Is it possible to customise the result slide in a way that would enable me to pull in the results from 2 question slides AND one regular slide with a question on it? So far I have the 2 questions slides...
I'm not sure I fully understand the question here - but a results slide can track a plethora of quiz questions. As for a regular slide - did you use a Storyline quiz question for it, or just your own radio buttons? If it's not a quiz slide, there isn't much to track in terms of reporting to a results slide. Perhaps if you're looking to do something more customized on that slide you could look at the freeform options like the pick one? The answers and how a user answers(score) can be tracked on those as well.
Hi Ashley, I used 2 storyline quiz slides and a slide with triggers and layers for questions. So I guess my options are to either create my own results slide with my own logic - gathering values from quiz and non quiz slides or to transform my one regular slide to freeform - however that one slide has 3 questions on 3 layers. As far as I can tell.... the Form view does not pick up any objects on slide layers... ? I'm not sure how I can add SCORM tracking/result slide to this type of question... I've attached it so you can see. Thanks again
Yes, our results slide won't be able to read from the layers, nor can question slides have answers on layers - it would need to be standard quiz/question slides that track a score and report to a results slide. It's also worth noting that the results slide variables are not accessible within storyline so you won't be able to change their value with triggers based on how a user answers on a custom slide.
I think you'd need to recreate this slide as multiple questions. Likely not the answer you're looking for - but perhaps someone in the community will be able to chime in as well!
That's a pity... normally I wouldn't mind having it as seperate questions but because it's potentially a video with 3 pause triggers ... not sure how to carry that over 3 slides... I'll try play around with it. thanks.
