Adding published Storyline project to my WordPress website

Feb 14, 2019

Hello everyone! A couple years ago my ex-web goddess figured out how to show a published SL module on my website. Well...I now have a new website and web-goddess and the old set-up has disappeared. The articles and discussions I found here don't quite have the info I'm looking for. Please help me understand how to let site visitors see the finished module.

Here's what I've got already:

  • A zipped folder full of files associated with the published module in Dropbox (and on my PC).
  • A .story file also in Dropbox (and on my PC).
  • A website host (sitedistrict.com. they are awesome!).
  • A wordpress site.
  • A dim memory that a website PAGE was created for this, not a blog entry.

I await your wisdom.

Oh, here's the new site! www.savageandgreene.com

Hii Shawn,

I'm bit late in replying for this question, but i'm sure it will definitely help other members of the community.

It seems you have .zip file exported from Articulate Storyline project, now you want to publish it on WordPress.

Easy way: To publish your storyline project on WordPress website, you need a plugin, named GrassBlade xAPI Companion.

1. Install this plugin,

2. Now go to xAPI Content > Add New > xAPI content details Section > Choose file,

3. Hit update button, it will update and publish your articulate developed content to your website. You can configure other things also on the same page about this course.

4. Done !!!

Note: If you have download xAPI tracking enabled zip, you have to connect a LRS (GrassBlade LRS is good for better results), otherwise it won't work. If you don't want tracking, download file without xapi or scorm tracking. Now upload and publish it will do your job.

In this plugin, you can set youtube and vimeo video in your course and xapi tracking. Also you can connect your DropBox to set quick import of big course files.

I hope it would be helpful :)

Regards,
