I am trying to add a simple click sounds to navigation buttons that I have set up on my master slide, but it seems that this causes the sound to not play at all. Has anyone else encountered anything like this?

I had tried setting up the sounds to play on clicks and had no luck, but I found more success adding them when the button state was down. I assume the inconsistent playing is due to jumping to the next slide? Or does the sound play independently of the timeline?
Makes sense, I just noticed the example I was working from was navigating between layers on the same slide, so there was not jump to contend with. Thanks folks!

Hi Bill,
Not sure what could be the reason of this. But if you add sounds in button states, it should play.
If not working, are you able to share your story file.

You need to set up the sounds so they play on button click and then add another trigger to jump to ...xyz when media (audio) completes.
