I cannpt figure out how to time my titles, captions,text box with my video playing.
On the video there are seconds counting but on the timeline where I have inserted a caption or text box to appear over the person talking, I have no clue how to time it. I cannot see the same seconds on the timeline as the video.
this link might help you with syncing - you'd need to run the video and add cue points to the timeline where you want your objects to come in and then move the objects on the timeline lined up to the cue points. The following may help you
