I created a screen recording in Storyline 3 and have a few captions per slide in some cases. I would like the user to be able to click each to activate the next one and move forward. Is there a setting or do I have to add a button to each caption?
I pause the timeline at the beginning and then have the captions triggered
as you have recommended. Any time I can trigger the timeline resume if
there is mouse action and then on the last caption I resume the timeline
and the slide automatically advances. Works well, thank you.

Hi Lianne,
Have you tried placing the captions on individual layers? Then, you could use this trigger to show the captions:
"Show Caption 2 layer when the user clicks Caption 1"
