Additional triggers in Simulation
Oct 21, 2014
Hi Heroes! I've developed a software simulation with "side navigation" that explains what's happening (in View) or specifies the steps to take (in Try) in rectangle shapes. I want to be able to click on each rectangle to go back or forward to a specific step.
So far I'm just working on the View mode - I've added a trigger for each shape and assigned it an action to Jump to Slide when User Clicks. It will work the first time used in a scene, but after that they don't even show as clickable. However, my other triggers (switch to Try mode and Menu) still work.
I wonder if it has something to do with the slide advancing when media ends in View, but not sure since my other triggers work.
I've attached the scene I'm having difficulty with. I've stripped out the rest of my course, so only triggers within the scene will work as expected.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well that's embarrassing... I figured out what I did wrong. I copied/pasted my triggers, assuming it would carry with it the object information. But it did not, so I had the triggers but they weren't attached to any objects on slides other than the first.
Hopefully this is at least helpful for someone else who has made this mistake
Hi Sherrie! No worries, thanks for sharing your solution though
