Adjusting Sliders while the layers are auto playing.
May 26, 2016
I am currently working on creating a historical timeline that can be advanced in two ways. The first way is with a standard slider while the other is an auto play method where the layers change when the timeline ends. As of right now I can not find a way to get the slider button to move along with it so if the learner switches from auto play to the manual slider during the presentation.
Also while it may not have been the more efficient method (it was a first try) I built this with one slide with a bunch of layers stacked on it. For some reason I can not get the slider to return to the base later when moved all the way to 0 which is the value I set to the base later.
Thanks

Hi Keith,
For issues like the one you're describing it's best if you can share a copy of the .story file so that we can take a look at what you're seeing and be able to manipulate the file to offer suggestions and advice. You can upload it here using the "add attachment" button.
During Auto play you can change the position of a slider by changing its associated variable.
To return to the base, you have to hide any and all visible layers. The most efficient way to do that is to open a blank layer that is set to hide all other layers, and have it hide itself after 0.01 sec.
