I am using a short answer question slide in Storyline as an acknowledgement to a policy. If you don't type anything in the answer field you get a feedback pop up that says "Invalid Answer" You must complete the question before submitting. Is there a way that I can customize that text. I don't see anything anywhere that will take me to that dialogue box.
Hi Keithia! I think that the documentation that is in this tutorial is exactly what you are looking for and will explain how to customize your question feedback.
No I already know how to do that. The feedback for the freeform short answer questions in storyline is hidden somewhere I don't know where to find it to adjust it. I looked in the question properties itself and then I looked in the master feedback slide....
If it's simply the text that you want to change, click the Player button (from the Home tab, on the Publish group) and when the Player Properties dialog box opens, click Text Labels - you'll see it in the custom group near the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down to # 17, Invalid Answer, and on the right side change the text.
If you want to completely revamp the invalid answer, check out Jeanette Brooks' screenr
And if we STILL don't "get" what you're looking for, please shout out again!
