Flash output will always be including when publishing, but you can always include the HTML5 option when you choose to publish - and you'll see a file in the output labelled story_html5.html. If you point to that one specifically you'll automatically load the HTML5 and even if your users don't have Flash installed, if you point to the story.html file they'll be directed to view HTML5 content as described here. You'll also want to let you users know to view the output in one of the supported browsers detailed here.

Our company does not use good chrome- we are use Internet explorer. Per the documentation it appears that html 5 is only compatible with chrome and safari.

That is correct - if accessing on a PC, Chrome would be the HTML5 browser and if accessing on a Mac, you'd use Safari.

SL produces HTML5 output as well when publishing if checked. See the output folder for story5.html
