Advance behavior of my slides with embedded video

Apr 19, 2013

Hey Heroes,

We have a lot of slides with videos in our e-learning tool. After the video is over, our course skips automatically to next slide. when we upload it onto a server with lower performance the tool skips to early - before the video scene is over.

from my understanding it happens, because there is a duration for each slide. Because the videos need more time to load, the automatic skip comes some seconds to fast.

Is there any setting we can chance to fix this problem? we are already using advanced behavior for our slides. here it is said, that the slide is not chancing before the video is over: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/customizing-the-advance-behavior-of-your-slides.aspx

Do you think there is anythink wrong in our setting?

Do you have any recommendations for us?

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Boris!

How are the videos inserted in your slides? Do you have them in line with the timeline, or do they have separate video controls? It sounds like you may have the timeline set to advance automatically after the media completes, but I'm not sure if that's the case.

Are you able to share a little more about how your videos and course are set up, or are you able to share the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look.

Thanks!

Christine
