After publishing rectangle shapes are not proper fit into the respective position in V3.35 LMS output.

Jan 30, 2020

Hi

After upgrading the SL2 file into Sl360 then I started publishing. At that time when I published the module for LMS output in V3.35 The rectangle shapes are not proper fit into the respective position. Please give the solution for this.

Greetings, Eswarkumar!

I'd love to help investigate the misalignment you're seeing when upgrading your course. Are you comfortable with sharing the original .story file with me for testing? If so, you can send it privately by using this link or attach it publicly here.

I'll gauge the performance in a test LMS environment and delete it after!

Hello there, Eswarkumar!

Thank you for those screenshots, and so sorry the cloud's format isn't displaying correctly. I'm ready to keep digging!

What happens if you open a new Storyline file > Select a Story Size that fits most browser standards (e.g. 720x540 0r 720x405) > Then import the upgraded slides into the new file?

Also, is this happening only in Chrome or other browsers as well?

Hi Eswarkumar,

Thank you for letting us know!

What happens when you import the slides at the desired size (1000x650)? Do you see the same results?

If you need our help to take a look at your file, we're always more than happy to help! You can share files in this thread, or you're always welcome to share them privately here. We'll let you know our findings and will delete it after having a closer look!

Hello Eswarkumar!

I've tested your file on my end, and it looks like the cloud caption is showing signs of corruption. I deleted the cloud caption and added a new one with text. That did the trick!

Have you tried deleting the cloud caption and replacing it?

Also, I saw that you're using Flash with HTML fallback as the published output. Most browsers will use the HTML format so I'd suggest changing it to HTML Only.
