AICC doesn't work on SABA
Sep 12, 2017
Hey guys,
My client tried to upload an AICC package to his platform (Saba) and it didn't work. When he launched the course an error message appeared (attached), it's in portuguese, but basicaly says "Error: invalid URL site "index_lms.html".
I changed the "filename (URL)" on Reporting and Tracking Options to "index_lms.html" to test it on SCORMCloud, where it's working properly.
I wonder if there's any different configuration for Saba, but I didn't find any information about that neither on Saba's documentation nor here. I confess that this is my first time working with AICC, I don't even know where to look, and my co-worker programmer only knows SCORM.
Can anybody help me?
Best regards,
Paula.

Hi Paula! Thanks for reaching out. It looks like Saba should support AICC content. Can you reach out to Saba and see if they have any insight about uploading AICC content?
Let us know how you make out!
Hi Paula,
As Crystal stated, Saba does support AICC. Can you let me know which version you are using? I can then get you some steps on how to load the files.
Hello Emily and Crystal, thanks for the answers!
My client always use AICC on his platform, so, I don't think the problem is if the Saba is compatible with the AICC or not, however it's the first time I export AICC and since the programmer doesn't know AICC, only SCORM, I think it's safer and easier to use Storyline.
About Saba support, yesterday I searched for this information on this website and also tried to contact them, but I didn't find any information about this issue and when I click to open a new case it shows the following message: "User does not have access to create a case". I don't know why. :(
I'll ask my client for this information about Saba's version, how did they upload the zip file etc. and keep testing in order to find a solution.
Thanks once again, guys!
Paula
