Aligning Items on Timeline with End of Media

Jun 27, 2018

There may be a way to do this that I'm not noticing but I basically want to get everything on my timeline to line up with the end time of my audio file since I'm programming the layers to transition once the audio is complete.

So far when I select all, right click on the objects, the Timing option isn't there because some of the objects are grouped. This requires me to do this individually which is a pain. Like I said, I may be overlooking the process for this and if I am, I'd really appreciate some help.

There's a way to have the items align their start times with cues you create but I don't see an alignment for end times. It would be great to have a feature built in where you select all and instruct Storyline to the end time for all items with a specific one.

Hi Greg,

I´m not sure if I understood your problem. You want to show another layer when the audio ends right? So if you shorten your timeline to the end of the audio all items should end there too (if they are set to Show until the end of the timeline). Or are there several audio parts on the slide? And you could maybe group your elements after aligning them to the audio as a workaround.

It´s a bit hard to give you advice without seeing what you want to do and what your slide elements are.

Susi
