When published all of my shapes/photos etc. do not align correctly as shown when desining. Two sample images attached for reference. The output is in HTML, for use in Edge primarily (I have no chouce in the recommended browser).
Somewhat annoying when trying to design a full course with edge-to-edge content.
Hi there, Jason. I'd like to help investigate this alignment issue with you!
First, could you help me with a few key details?
What version of Storyline are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline.
Did you publish the course to LMS, Web, or something else?
With your permission, I'd like to test your .story file (even one troublesome slide would be perfect!) in Edge. It'll help me understand what's happening, and I'll delete it after troubleshooting. If that works for you, you can share that Storyline file with me privately via this upload link.
The output shown on the screenshot was from the Articulate preview, the output appears the same when uploaded to our LMS as well.
I have sent the full .story file over as it happens on most slides (and other projects as well) It is most apparent when aligning multiple items in a line: quite often they will appear one or two pixels out of place.
Was this issue resolved regarding alignment? I am experiencing the same issues. When in design mode it all looks good however when I preview or publish it its all out of whack :(
I am up to date with latest 360. I have uninstalled and reinstalled - no luck. Any ideas?
Hi, updating 360 did not resolve the issue for me. Objects are still often out of alignment on preview and on published courses - I never did get back to providing an update on the issue after the version update which is probably why the support call was closed - In any case, this is still an Issue I frequently come accross.
Thanks for your suggestion, however I have actually tried all the trouble shooting options, uninstalling and reinstalling etc. Its across different files and it seems to be happening intermittently as Jason experiences. I am only getting these issues now since the big maintenance on 360 early September. I did log a case with support and they could not seem to replicate my issue. Strange to say the least.
My work around when this happens is a long one, as I have to keep tweaking in the design mode which then looks out of line so the final output is aligned.
I think that was the case, Jason! I'm sorry you're both still running into this issue! This bug has been reported to our engineering team. Once we hear of an update, we'll let you know in this discussion.

Hi Katie, thank you for your reply.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for checking in! This issue was fixed in Update 16 (Build 3.16.15842.0). In Jason's case, it was updating Storyline 360 that did the trick.
Have you tried importing that project into a new project? It could be a specific file that is the culprit.
