All player options unchecked but still showing in prieview

I do not want any aspect of the player showing, so anywhere there is an option for player buttons to show, all of them are unchecked.  I have unchecked the PREV/NEXT buttons for every slide but whenever I preview and submit the interaction and then click back to the first slide and then back to that slide again, the PREV/NEXT buttons in the player show up again.  How do I get rid of them when returning to that page again?
