Alt Text - Can someone solve the mystery Dec 04, 2016 By kathryn brown Hi I have searched endlessly for a straight forward answer to this question... Do you add Alt-text to text boxes and captions even though the text is on the screen? Thank you for your help. I've gone through MANY links on 508 compliance on this site and have yet to find a "yes" or "no" answer.
