I'm working on a training that focuses on keyboard shortcuts in my company's main software application, all of which use Alt+. When I created a trigger to advance the training when the learner presses the correct Alt+ shortcut, the training will not advance. I've tried it with several different Alt+ and even Ctrl+ and none of them work on preview. I have tried the trigger with a simple key press (only a letter or number), and it works. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.

I would double-check to be sure it isn't interfering with a Storyline authoring shortcut (there's only one Alt+, but several CTRL+), or a browser shortcut already in place.

Make sure your trigger is attached to the slide itself and not any other object on the slide. I tested in Storyline 3 and Alt+Q worked fine for me.
