I am doing a comparison of the PowerPoint import capabilities for Articulate Storyline 2 versus another e-learning authoring tool.
The other tool imports all of my audio and animation timings just fine.
Storyline 2 does not import any of the audio and only imports animation timings at the text box level - animations by paragraph are not preserved.
Am I missing something about the import process (I have followed all of the tutorials available on E-Learning Heroes and the Articulate knowledge base)? Is there another way to do it besides the "insert slides" menu?
Should I be packaging the audio differently within PowerPoint? The files are all 320kbps MP3 files.
Please let me know. It's a bit hard to believe that a slide-based e-learning authoring application as popular as Storyline 2 would have such difficulty importing PowerPoint content.
Hi, Emil -- Thanks for reaching out here and sorry for your difficulties! While I will need to defer to your fellow community members to weigh in with their own ideas and opinions here, I did want to pass along a few of the tutorials you may have been referring to for others who come across this post and may not be familiar:
