Tracking results in a text file or database isn't supported.
This thread may help, it talks about how to load external JavaScript libraries into Storyline. Steve Flowers goes into detail about how to have a javascript trigger that adds code to your HTML document if its not there already. That way it loads automatically and you dont have to edit your html5 file every time.
I ended up utilizing this method in my Background Music Demo to insert and <audio> tag into the base .html file. You could download the .story file from that to see how I set up the triggers, it is the Version 2 of that example.
