And now....How can I package my 11 courses on a unique SCO course.

Jul 16, 2014

hello Heroes,..

We are facing the following situation...

11 SCo courses developped...(because 11 languages)

but we wish the learner to enter one course to be redirected to one course in his chosen language...(not to follow the 11 courses)

I can develop a 12e SCO course Menu, linking to the 11 others....but the report and the score is only possible on the Course Menu in our LMS (Cornerstone)....

What solution can I implement from now on...???

Should I develop a Multi Sco package? How can I do that with SL?

Should we use a kind of Aggregator to package all the courses together? or is only a Multi Sco package would help? (in my mind, Multi Sco does not help on this but I am not sure anymore..)

Please help...we are a bit stuck on this and are on the stage we should load the courses on the LMS....

Merci

J.

Hi Julie,

Storyline doesn't support tracking multiple SCOs in one course, but as you'll see in what Dave shared - other users have found a way to set this up. You may be able to track more than one SCO (shareable content object) in a single course using any of the following methods. We haven't, however, tested or verified the accuracy of the information provided in these articles. These methods aren't officially supported by Articulate.

Hope that those help!

Thank you Ashley...

unfortunately, all of these articles did not help for the moment, some are a bit tricky for my level of technicity and...also it is not exactly answering our requirements here..

Maybe I need to install Dreamweaver then..

I have downloaded a tool called RELOAD...and wish I could learn this...:

Hi all,

I used the simple scorm packager to bundle multiple storyline courses and it worked.

But...I have a case where the user only needs to complete 1 of 7 courses (different language versions of the same course) and after completion of any of the 7, should receive a completion status in the LMS.

There are really no options when bundling courses, and the default is that all courses in the package are required for a complete status in the LMS.

Does anyone know how to edit the package to allow this to occur and or another option?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,

This thread is a bit older, so i'm not sure if folks are still subscribed here - but our team is unable to support multi SCO within courses, so we'll have to defer to the community. If you don't hear back in this thread you may want to start a new forum thread and ask your question there so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle here.  You can see here our documentation of a few options that have been shared, but I can't speak to the effectiveness or validity for any.

Best of luck with your project.
