I have 3 buttons and show 3 different layers. User click button 1. Layer 1 appears. User clicks button 2. Layer 2 appears., etc.
I want to animate Layer 1 exiting, then have layer 2 appear. Does this make sense? I'm sure this has been discussed before. So it there's an existing thread please point me in the right direction.

Hi Rachel you say user clicks button 1 layer 1 appears user clicks button 2...so are the buttons for each forward layer on the previous layer or on the base layer?
I've attached my slide. Click button 1. Layer 1 slides in. Then click button 2. I'd like layer 1 to slide out, then layer 2 to slide in. Is that possible?
At the time, the transition only apply to the slide or Layer as it appears.
If you would like to have exit transitions, you could submit a feature request here. I am sure if someone knows a way to achieve this with animations, they will jump in with ideas.

Hi Rachel
here is a sample where the layers 'transition' using the 'random bars option' - is this what you mean.
Hi Rachel! Looks like Wendy is assisting you here :)
