Hi, I’m new with storyline 2 I’ve got the evaluation version update 10.1607.1221.
Has you could see in the attachments files, I did a simple animated Gif, it’s working good in the player and in the browsers, but when I publish in Html 5 it’s not working.
I did some test and it seems that a black and white animate GIF is working but it’s not working with a color animated GIF.
Thanks for sharing your file and allowing us to take a look. I'm seeing the issue you are reporting (well, not seeing it is the issue really) when viewing your published HTML5 file.
I actually see where a similar issue has been reported to our QA Team, so I will add this thread for user awareness and for update when applicable. I do not have a timeline to provide.

Check this attached file, its working fine after publishing in HTML 5.
Clear your browser chache before launching the content. Also your browser should be updated.
Its better to check on Firefox.

It's so easy to work with animated gif for sequence like blinking a led etc..
