I request your guidance on, how to create an animation in storyline-2 that makes an small circle get larger over time. Or an animation that changes shape size over time. Hope I have made the question clear for all.
Thank you Wendy for your reply. I understand your point but creating animation following this method is just like the traditional cartoon drawing. And along with taking a lot time for a few minute animation this wont be as smooth as animations created in Adobe After effect.
Is there any other way to do it much faster to get a smooth animation ??
I think Wendy's suggestion is probably the easiest way to do it in SL. Of course it's going to be more work and not as smooth as doing it in After Effects but SL isn't really meant for that. If you have After Effects why not create your animation there and import it as a video?

Yes, Please see this example in the link below. Here on the first instance the triangle shrinks to smaller size and moves to the right side. And on the later instances, the segments of the triangle grows out one by one.

very simple example of a circle growing using states that change based on trigger when timeline reaches xx secs

Would using the "grow" animation in SL2 work for this? You can set the duration of the animation to any amount of time within your timeline.
