I have a slide that has animation (an object appearing) on the base layer. The user is then presented with a Yes/No question. Either the "Yes" layer or the "No" layer is displayed based on the response.
However they answer the question, the animation on the base layer repeats as soon as the next layer is shown. This happens whether or not I pause the timeline on the base layer. I want the base layer to show through, but I don't want the animation to repeat.
Is this expected behavior, a bug, or something I can change with a setting?
Can you post the slide so we can take a look? It shouldn't be repeating, but depending upon the other settings, it might. Being able to look at the slide will help us quickly ascertain the dynamics.
Thanks for the quick reply...I worked on this for about 30 minutes before posting my questions, and then managed to figure out the problem about 5 minutes after posting my question. :p
The button that was supposed to be showing another layer was actually jumping to a different, identical, slide that was in there as a placeholder for something else. Doh!
