Animation only plays once

I'm probably missing something very simple. I have a simple file where I have a 2 layers. On one layer, I have a "show me" button that has a trigger to show the 2nd layer. When the second layer shows, a rectangle flys into the slide from the left. The second layer also has a "close" button that simply hides layer 2. This works, I click the "show me" button and layer 2 appears and the rectangle animates onto the slide. If I click the "close" button and then click the "show me" button a second time, the rectangle doesn't animate back onto the slide, the rectangle is already displayed. Is there a way to reset the animation with a trigger?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi, Troy -
There's a little gear icon on each layer. This will open the Slide Layer Properties dialog box. At the bottom of this window, there is a section for Revisits. Default is Automatically decide. If you want to be sure the layer plays again, make sure this is set to Resume saved state.
Thanks Steve!
"Reset to initial State" is the one you want.
