Any idea how to link two mp4s play seamlessly one after the other

Calling all Articulites!
I have an interesting challenge from work, a client has asked for their current training to work on an iPad, the problem is that they are all flash based so a simple import and publish to HTLM5 won't work.
I had an idea to record the .swf to an mp4, clicking on the interactions and allowing the animation to play out, then breaking them down into separate videos linking them together with invisible triggers. This works perfectly well on the desktop but on the iPad there are black screen pauses between each video. Has anyone else used this method and did it work for you? Or can anyone else think of a better solution?
Any help is greatly received
Luke

Hi Luke -
Here's one way to go about looping mp4 videos: http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/12177/73197.aspx#73197
In that example, we use triggers to loop a video, but it sounds like you want to play one after another, so you'd change the 2nd trigger to play Media 2 instead of re-playing Media 1.
Let us know if you have any questions!
Thanks David but unfortinutly this provided simular results, linking the videos doesn't seem to be the problem it is the time taken to load the second, third etc video. It runs perfectly on the desk top, just not on the iPad. Is there a way where you can pre-buffer the the videos?
Long shot I know.
Hi Luke - how are you setting up your files? [deleted]
Okay, I tested a few things and talked to some guys on support. Right now, that brief pause is just how videos are loaded and played on the iPad in our current installation.
Is there any way you can edit all videos to bring them together into a single video? That would likely be your best option now if you need a continuous playback effect.
I wanted to do this too Luke, but I had to take them into an external video editor and link them together that way.
That's interesting Ryan, I do have Camtasia 7.1 which will do the trick but that publishes out in Flash. What did you use?
David, Thank you for looking into this further.
Can I have one long video, and place triggers within it to jump to the desired time? The key to this particular training is it's interactivity. In a way I'm pleased this isn't easy to do as then everyone will be doing it
Mine were flv's but the process is the same.
I imported them to storyline, the published it. The videos will be converted to mp4 and located in the story_content output directory. I then took those mp4s and edited them with Correl video...outuput those to mp4, and brought the clips back into storyline. Took a while to get there but it worked.
Thanks for this Ryan, I am looking into something similar right now
Ryan, did you get the videos to link seamlessly, with no gap or pause between them? - Is it possible I could see what you created?
I wouldn't say the videos were linked...they were edited together to appear seamless. I'll inbox you...
Ah, I see. If I was to have just one video on the slide then I will lose the interactivity which is essential to this project.
Thanks for all your effort and time on this, I have sent a reply to your private message if you haven't already seen it.
