I'm trying to show a video in my current project. The source file is a MPEG 4 file sized 1024x768. The video is shown in a new browser window but when I insert the video in Articulate it is resized to 720x540. Is there any way to display the video in the original 1076x768 size?
The player is set to resize browser to fill screen, but the video is still too small to be of use.
How are you inserting and launching the video? If you're inserting it onto a slide, you can simply use the pull handles to resize the video. If you're launching in a new window, are you using the Jump to URL/File trigger? If so, the video should launch at it's full size.
Embedding the video via a URL/file trigger is not an option unfortunately. The only other option is to change the Story Size to 1024x768, but that may be a problem for the client - and besides it messes up the design for some reason (that is, the course doesn't show up in the browser the way it looks in Storyline).
It is obviously bring the video in at the size of the slide, Wonder if after publish you could swap out the video with a 1024x768 in the content folder

Worth a feature request
No luck unfortunately, Phil
But it would be great to have the option to choose the size of the video output...
Just curious (and not a criticism in any way ) . . . why does the video have to be at 1024 x 768. Is it a screen recording?
Hi Gerry,
Yes it is - and pretty low quality at that. Unfortunately I don't have the option of editing the video to make it more user friendly :-(
