I'm publishing two videos that will be viewed by a large user community on any type of device. The problem is that some browsers (Firefox) are automatically opening the HTML5 version, which is incredibly blurry. Chrome doesn't do this. I know Articulate support recommends setting "lock player at optimal size", but this is not an option - to do that would make the video useless (content too small to be even visible). Is there any way to work around this? We want to include the HTML5 content for mobile users.
As you can see here, we do not support viewing the HTML5 version of the content in Firefox. Please be sure that your users are using the latest version of Firefox and that Flash is up to date as well.
Not sure if other community members have a different, non-supported solution that may be of assistance to you.
The HTML5 is not supported in Firefox. but the flash content is. I'm not sure I could speak as to why, but there are still limitations related to HTML5 in different browsers and issues/inconsistency.
Thanks all for the info! The course is uploaded to our web server, and though we link to the HTML version, Firefox is indeed automatically opening the HTML5 version for some users, which looks awful. Publishing an HTML only version isn't a solution, as then the users get an error b/c they don't have the flash plugin (not optimal UE for us). Chrome seems to be fine which is about half of our user population. Will keep investigating workarounds and update here if I discover anything useful.

Hi Sara!
Articulate Storyline lets you publish courses for Flash, HTML5, and the Articulate Mobile Player app. To distribute your published content, upload it to your web server or LMS, then link to the story.html file in the published output. Here’s how Storyline determines which version of your content to display when learners view it.

Leslie-Out of curiosity, why is Firefox not supported by Articulate?
Hi Rachel!

Leslie-this seems odd, since Firefox blocks Flash, and has been doing so since July last year.
Sara-Firefox blocked Flash late last year-http://money.cnn.com/2015/07/14/technology/flash-firefox-facebook/index.html. That may be the problem your users are experiencing with displaying Flash content, and why only the HTML5 content is displaying.
Firefox does have a Flash plug in-https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keep-flash-up-to-date-and-troubleshoot-problems?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing+the+Flash+plugin.
That may work out, but I'm not 100% sure, as our users use Safari and Internet Explorer. Sorry I can't tell you from first hand experience.
Good luck!

Hi Rachel!
Hmm, we have some documentation here that may assist. As you are sharing, even Mozilla recommends the plugin as you can see here.
