any working example of video working in html5 chrome android/ios?

I am figuring out if there is any working example of a playback video working in html5 version on chrome for android and ipad, where the video starts automatically and DOES NOT have the control-bar attached.

Customers are disappointed because video works only if you attach the control bar, and you must click to play the video. Is this a security/data saving setting of those browsers? is it possible to use a workaround, a script, a trigger to avoid this?
