I'm trying to set up a way to communicate between a webobject (a 360-degree
html5 tour made with Pano2VR) and Storyline. When the webobject has a
certain action, I want it to be able to send Storyline a message that it's
reached that point.
I could do that if Storyline has an api that I can just send a number to.
In Storyline, I can set a trigger, watch for a change in a variable's
value, and have things happen when that variable's value changes. But I
need to be able to flip the variable from an outside call.
Thank you all. What a great community, once again.
I have it working. It took a combination of the correct code (thank you Matthew, Michael, and Phil) and knowing to load both the Storyline and the Pano2vr folders onto the same domain.

Can you be more specific about this? What are you trying to do now that's not working? Are you trying to set a numeric variable with Javascript?

Can you not use var player=parent.GetPlayer(); to set a storyline variable from your web object?
Phil's got the answer. You can do other things as laid out here.

So I would use var player=parent.GetPlayer() as a JavaScript command in my
webobject to address Storyline?
I'll try this out, thank you.
