Application simulation w/side bar containing senario for training

Hello all,

I'm finding Storyline to be a very useful tool creating software application simulations for training. I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I'm having finding the functionality to do what I want.

So I have created the simulation by recording myself using the app and it works great, however, for training, the user will need to use the app simulation within the context of a scenario and I would like to have a side bar displaying the scenario present in applicable slides of the simulation for the user to reference.

I know that I could accomplish this several way such as placing a caption on the slide or using a scrolling text box but is it possible to say, drag the boundary of the right margin left and have that section of the slide contain the scenario?

Any help or suggestions here would be great and much appreciated! Also, if others have tackled a similar situation I'm open to suggestions to alternatives.
