Apply to all for shapes or text boxes

Feb 04, 2020

Hi there,

I have a rectangle shape that I've customized to use as a textbox. How can I apply this change to all of the slides without manually using format painter? Meaning, if I customize any shape or text box on the first slide, isn't there a function that allows you to apply that change to all of those items on the remaining slides?

Thank you!

There isn't, unless your set up is such that using a slide master would work (edit the shape on the master and it'll apply to all slides using that layout) - obviously, that's not going to work for a lot of situations.

The format painter IS the shortcut tool designed to do what you want to do, sadly! (do you know you can double-click to keep it 'on', though?)
